Processing of personal data in KLP Ejendomme
KLP Ejendomme processes information about you as a customer, business associate, and visitors to our properties or users of our digital solutions. Personal information is information and assessments that may be attached to you as a person, such as your name, email address, date of birth, telephone number and the like.

We record and use personal information to manage our relationships with customers and business associates as well as to ensure the security of our buildings and in marketing. We usually collect the information directly from you. At KLP Ejendomme we do not process sensitive personal data.

We process this personal information

About tenants in our properties
To follow up on the customer relationship, we record and process information about our tenants. This information is usually the names, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers and job titles of contacts. This information is usually obtained directly from you or from your employer. Sometimes we also collect information from publicly available lists. When we enter into a lease, we will also be able to get credit checks from our contract counterparty. As a tenant in our properties you will be able to receive customer surveys, newsletters and other information from us.

To ensure security, many of our properties have access control and / or camera surveillance. When you use access control, your name, email address, phone number and any personal password are usually recorded. This type of system is mainly used to prevent unauthorized access to the building. Camera surveillance is used to prevent criminal acts such as vandalism, burglary and theft and is always well marked. Access to monitoring data is very limited, and storage and deletion always follow applicable laws and recommendations.

The basis for processing this information is regulated under the Personal Data Act, and we process customer information to fulfill an agreement with the data subject or to perform tasks according to the data subject’s request before such an agreement is concluded. We process personal information related to access control and camera surveillance to protect important interests. Camera supervision is also specially regulated under the Personal Data Act.

About other business relationships
If you are one of our business associates – for example, a service provider for our buildings, we store information such as names and contact information to get in touch with you. We also store contact information about past and potential customers and business associates. This is information that we store only if we believe it is likely that we would like to get in touch with the company you represent to offer rents on our premises or request a quote for a product or service.

To manage the contractual relationship, we also collect information from publicly available lists. We may also receive credit checks in connection with assessment and evaluation of suppliers.

The basis for processing this information is governed by the Personal Data Act in that the data processor or third party to whom the information is disclosed may have a legitimate interest and the privacy of the data subject does not exceed that interest.

About visitors to our properties
If you visit or live at one of our properties, we will ensure that your stay is safe and that you can conduct the business you have efficiently. Some of our properties have visitor registration systems. This system usually records the name, employer, email addresses, phone number and, if applicable, vehicle registration number. These types of systems are mainly used to ensure that there are no unauthorized persons in the building, as well as to facilitate efficient meetings and the like. To ensure the safety of our property, we use camera surveillance. Camera surveillance is used to prevent criminal acts such as vandalism, burglary and theft and is always well marked. Access to monitoring data is very limited and storage and deletion comply with applicable laws and recommendations at all times.

The basis for processing this information is regulated under the Personal Data Act and is for the protection of important interests. Camera supervision is also specially regulated under the Personal Data Act.
